Carrie L. Biehle, 47, passed away on Wednesday, March 10. 2021 at her home in Borden, Indiana. She was born on February 7, 1974 to Thomas Downs II and Margaret Fields in New Albany, Indiana. Carrie earned her Bachelor's degree in nursing and was in progress of her Master's degree. She formerly worked at the University of Louisville as a nursing educator. Throughout her career she worked as a nurse at St. Catherine Hospital of Charlestown, Hospice of Southern Indiana and worked as an emergency room nurse at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany. Carrie enjoyed gardening and transforming gourds into bird houses. She was preceded in death by her father and her aunt, Marilyn Blevins.

Survivors include her loving husband, William Biehle of Borden, her sons, Jonthan Biehle of Indianapolis, Indiana, Michael Biehle of Borden, Indiana, her daughter, Caitlynn Biehle of Norfolk, Virginia, her brothers, Thomas Downs III, John Downs, Matthew Downs, her sisters, Kelley Downs-Groth, Heather Downs, her bonus sisters, Cathy Wesner of Georgetown, Indiana and Dawn Hougland of Pekin, Indiana. Carrie also leaves behind a bonus daughter, Madison Sears of Indianapolis.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 P. M. on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
