Carolyn Fleming Beyl , 79, entered eternal life on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Norton Clark Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Born at home in Speed, Indiana, on October 31, 1944, Carolyn was the beloved daughter of the late Hollis and Irene Fleming (Hughes).

Carolyn dedicated many years of her professional life to the Indiana Ammunition Plant and Indiana Ordnance before retiring. Known for her vibrant spirit and love for life, she found joy in her Girls' Night Out Club, spent countless hours engrossed in books, and cherished the peaceful moments of sitting outside.

Above all, Carolyn treasured her family, spending precious time creating memories with those she loved most. Her warm presence and kind heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Carolyn was preceded in death by her 3 siblings.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Glen Beyl of Sellersburg, Indiana, her son, Todd Beyl (Denise) of Sellersburg, her daughter, Kara Heimerdinger (Mark) of Sellersburg and her grandchildren, Sydney Klempner (Stacey), Kevin Heimerdinger, Bennett Beyl, Carson Beyl and Hayden Heimerdinger.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at the Garr Funeral Home (7806 Highway 311, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172) with interment to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
