Carolyn Ann Hamm , 87, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021.  She died peacefully at her home surrounded by her family in Memphis, Indiana.  Carolyn was born September 24, 1934 in Sellersburg.  She graduated from Silver Creek High School in 1952.  Carolyn enjoyed cooking, canning, reading, caring for farm animals and critters.  She spent many hours remembering family, friends and her childhood classmates.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her Son, Teddy and her parents, Clara and Louis Dold.

Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Theodore Sr.  and sons, Jimmy (Aliene) and Eric (Carol) and her sister, Betty (Mark) Fraley.  Also, her grandchildren  Rebecca (Jeremey) Vanover, Clara Jefferson (Jeff), Elizabeth (Dylan) Anderson, Mary Ellen (Seth) Hughes, Kate (Andy) Majot, Jessica Hamm, Rachel (John) Dooley.  Great -grandchildren are Lilly, Dakota, Aiden, Carson, Charlotte, Lincoln, and Robbie.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M.  Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 2:00 P.M. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home and anytime after 9:00 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Interim Healthcare Hospice, (2760 Jefferson Centre Way, Suite 4, Jeffersonville, IN  47130) or Salvation Army or St. John Paul II, (2605 St. Joe Road West, Sellersburg, IN 47172)
