Carl Goldman Jr., a beloved resident of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 22nd, 2026, at the age of 93. Born in English, Indiana, on July 30th, 1932, Carl lived a life marked by dedication, service, and love for his family and community.

Carl proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. His commitment to service was evident not only in his military tenure but also in his lifelong work ethic. Carl was employed as a fork lift operator and was a dedicated employee who retired from General Electric. His industrious spirit continued into his retirement, as he helped keep active by working with Security Link.

Carl cherished the moments spent going out to eat on weekends with his loved ones and enjoyed riding bicycles with his dear wife, Joan. Carl’s commitment and love were constants throughout his life, continuing to resonate within those who knew him.

He is survived by his sister, Carolyn Campbell (Roger), and his brother-in-law, John Frech (Marjane) Carl was preceded in death by his loving parents, Carl and Amzel Goldman, his beloved spouse, Joan R. Goldman, and his sister, Dorothy Farrell.

Visitation will be held at Garr Funeral Home in( 7806 Highway 311, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172) on Monday, July 13th, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral services to celebrate Carl’s life will also be at Garr Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 14th, 2026, at 11:00 am. with interment to follow at New Chapel Cemetery.
