Brenda Kay Steele , 64, passed away on Saturday October 29, 2016 at her home in Memphis, Indiana. She was born on April 29, 1952 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to the late Warren and Dorothy (Kays) Hubbard. Mrs. Steele retired from the United States Census Bureau where she worked in the procurement office. She was a member of the Northside Christian Church in New Albany, a member of the Red Hat Society and a 1970 graduate of Charlestown high school . Mrs. Steele spent many evenings throughout the years at the ball fields supporting her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed being in the company of her family during vacations and family dinners. Mrs. Steele was preceded in death by her brother Gary Hubbard.

Barton Steele- Sellersburg, Indiana

B.J.  (Alanna) Steele- Charlestown, Indiana

Daughters:                                      Melissa Baird- Cooper City, Florida

Brother:                                          Wayne (Sharon) Hubbard- Charlestown, Indiana

Grandchildren:                              Amber (Josh) Mckain, Justin Baird, Cortney Baird,

Nicholas Baird, Haley Vanmeter, Emily Steele, Lyric Steele, and Laila Steele

Great Grandchild:                        Silas McKain

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday November 2, 2016 at Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday and on Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
