Bonnie J. Myers , 96, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Maple Manor Christian Home in Sellersburg, Indiana. She was born on July 20, 1924 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to the late Dempsey and Golda Stone (Keebler). Bonnie was a home maker for the majority of her life and faithful servant of Jesus Christ. She was a current member of the Jacobs Chapel United Methodist Church of New Albany, Indiana, a former member of the Springdale United Methodist Church of Jeffersonville and the Beach United Methodist Church of Ft. Myers Beach, Florida. Bonnie enjoyed being active in her church, cross stitch, baking and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles J. Myers, by her daughter, Mona Wade, by her son, Charles J. Myers, Jr., by her brothers, Howard, Sam, Norvin and Paul Stone, by her sisters, Janice Phelps and Alice May and by her granddaughter, Christina Myers.

Survivors include her sons, Larry Myers, Sr. (Sherry) of Borden, Indiana,  Michael Myers of Bedford, Indiana, daughters, Karen Richard (Joe) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Linda Love of Sellersburg and Cherie Norrod (Roger) of McCordsville, Indiana, her brother, Bob Stone (Doris) of Jeffersonville, Indiana, her grandchildren, Jeanne Love-Partipilo of Sellersburg, Renee Richard-Gonce (Tony) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Steven Richard (Crystal) of Seattle, Washington, Kari Smith (Matt) of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, Roddy Norrod (Amy) of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Ramon Norrod of Savanna, Georgia, Tracey Myers of Palmyra, Indiana, Larry Myers, Jr. of Louisville, Kentucky, Jessica Myers of New Albany, Indiana,  Melissa Myers of New Albany, and her son-in-law, David Wade. Bonnie also leaves behind 14 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren to cherish her memory.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, April 16, 2021 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at Miller Cemetery in Borden. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 P.M until 8:00 P.M. and on Friday from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
