Bonnie E. Hurst , 87, entered eternal life on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at Charlestown Place at New Albany. She was born on May 24, 1936 to the late Charles and Mary McNew (Queen)in Lilly, Kentucky. Bonnie was a home maker and a member of Borden Christian Church. Bonnie enjoyed  playing bingo and dancing at the Salem Senior Center. She loved spending quality time with her children and grandchildren. Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Bruce Farnsley, Sr., by her son, Robert Lee Farnsley and by her daughter, Deborah Ann Farnsley.

Survivors include her son, Lloyd Bruce Farnsley, Jr. of Memphis, Indiana, her daughters, Carla Mae Farnsley of Pekin, Indiana, Linda Gail Voyles of Henryville, Indiana and her 11 grandchildren, Stacey, Brandy, Jeremy, Gary, R.J., Beth, Lacy, Levi, Haylee, Dillon and Colton. Bonnie also leaves 10 great-grandchildren and 5 great- great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, November 6, 2023 at Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Borden, Indiana. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Monday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
