Billy C. Norton , 87, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Westminster Health Care Center in Clarksville. He was born on January 10, 1930 to the late Clarence and Alleen Norton in Frankfort, Kentucky. Mr. Norton retired from Hobart Manufacturing in Louisville, Kentucky. He was a member of Graceland Baptist Church in New Albany. Mr. Norton enjoyed his retirement years working as a greeter at the New Albany Meijer. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Marlyn Norton, his son, Billy Norton, Jr., his daughter, Sherrell Nethery and his sister Betty Sue Nye. Survivors include his son, Robert McAffee (Judy) of Greenwood, Indiana and his daughter Dawn Norton Dunn of Sellersburg.  Mr. Norton also leaves behind 15 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday April 24, 2017 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany. Visitation will take place on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
