Betty Jo Day, 77, passed away Friday, April 7, 2017, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany.  She was a Homemaker and an active member of the Sellersburg Full Gospel Tabernacle Church.  Betty was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Day, parents, Frank Mitchell and Josephine Tankersley and a sister, Johnette Bowman.  Surviving are, son, Rick (Debbie) Day, Jeffersonville, daughters, Pam (Melvin) Eversole, Memphis, Lisa (Mark) Frantz, Memphis, brothers, Clifford Lindsey, Jeffersonville, David Lindsey, Patoka Lake, sisters, Terri Lugo, Jeffersonville, Angie Tankersley, Louisville, Sandy Bratcher, Jeffersonville, grandchildren, Chasity, Zack, Heather, Josh, and Justin, great-grandchildren, Cody, Shelby, Brinley and Preston.  Funeral services will be held 11AM Wednesday at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with burial to follow at Willey's Chapel Cemetery.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-8PM and anytime after 9AM until the time of service on Wednesday.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.garrfuneralservices.com.
