Bessie E. Wray , 94, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Sellersburg Health Care Center in Sellersburg, Indiana. She was born on October 18, 1926 to the late John and Elizabeth Burns in Buckner, Kentucky.  Bessie retired from the General Electric Company of Louisville, Kentucky after 18 years with the company. She enjoyed quilting, crafts and window shopping in her free time. Bessie was preceded in death by her loving husband, James B. Wray, by her son, Larry G. Wray and by her daughter, Doris M. Wray.

Survivors include her son, James E. Wray (Vivian) of Borden, Indiana, her grandchildren, James, Eric, Tammy and Jessica, her great grandchildren, Evan, Brooke, Colin, Kyla, Parker, Braydon, Aremis, James, Julie, Abigail and Joann and by her great-great grandchildren, Noah and Benjamin.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
