Barbara J. Trissel , 78, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on December 19, 1944 in Batesville, Indiana to the late A.H. and Edna Wenning (Brancamp). Barbara grew up on the farm in Sellersburg, Indiana. She worked and managed several credit unions while she lived in Indiana. After moving to Florida she worked for United Solutions. Her work there included traveling across the country implementing credit union software and training employees to use it. She was known to have a strong work ethic and to be a dedicated teacher. During her leisure she enjoyed reading, watching baseball and football. She was a gifted seamstress and shared the love of sewing with others. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald L. Trissel and by her brother, Larry Wenning and by her sister, Marilyn Wenning.

Survivors include her twin brother, Jerry Wenning (Alice), her best friend, Monya Turner, her sisters-in-law, Janice Wenning and Alice Wenning and her niece, Michelle McCutcheon (Matt).

Cremation was chosen. No services are scheduled at this time.
