Arlene Elizabeth Renn , 92, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 24, 2024, in Memphis, Indiana. Born on March 30, 1931, to the late Paul and Isabel Dilger (Mattingly), Arlene was a cherished member of the St. John Paul II Catholic Church and a past participant in the Daughters of Isabel. She dedicated herself to the women's club at the church and was known for her passion for quilting. Arlene found joy in trips to the casino, cherished moments with her family and outings with her dear friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Francis Renn, by her son-in-law, Caleb Miricle, by her brother, Norbert Dilger, and by her sisters, Lois Stepheny, and Joyce Clark. Arlene will be fondly remembered for her warmth, generosity, and zest for life.

Survivors include her son, Charles Renn (Rosanna) of Pekin, Indiana, Eric Renn (Donna) of Deer Park, Texas, her daughters, Rhonda Miracle of Parker, Colorado, Barbara Spaulding (David) of Memphis, Indiana, her grandchildren, Shelby, Brittany, Alex, Kaylee, Sarah, Clay, Beth and Benjamine, her great-grandchildren, Jade, Caleb, Colbe, Chloe (Joe), Dakota, Aiden, Lincoln, Asher and Charlie. Arlene also leaves one great-grandchild to cherish her legacy, "J".

A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, March 1, 2024 at the St. John Paul II Catholic Church in Sellersburg with entoumbment to follow at Kraft Graceland Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg and on Friday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the processional to church.
