Sellersburg, Indiana Alleen R. Sprigler Allen, 95, entered eternal life on Sunday, December 31, 2017, at Providence Retirement Home in New Albany.  She was a devoted Homemaker, loving wife, mother and life member at St. Joe Hill Catholic Church.  Alleen was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Mary Sprigler, husband, Everett Allen, numerous siblings and a son-in-law, David Lile.  Surviving are son, Stu (Amanda) Allen, Sellersburg, daughters, Ruth Morrison Lile, Sellersburg, Linda Jean Allen, Sellersburg, Diane Fay Allen, Sellersburg, grandchildren, Quintin Allen, Wesley Morrison, Karyn Sinn, great-grandchildren, Ella Sinn, Raylan Morrison, Aidan Allen and Elliott Allen.  A Funeral Mass will be held 2PM Friday at St. John Paul II Catholic Church (St. Joe Hill Campus) with burial to follow at St. Joe Hill Catholic Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8PM at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. John Paul II Catholic Church.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.garrfuneralservices.com.
