Alice Mae Walker , 87, passed away on Thursday July 6, 2017. She was born on October 2, 1929 to the late Phillip and Mae Kohler in Louisville, Kentucky.  Mrs. Walker was home maker and a mother to many.  She was a member of the Speed Memorial Church in Sellersburg, where she was a member of the Christian Women's Fellowship. Mrs. Walker was known for her delicious deserts. She was preceded in death by her Brothers, Robert Kohler, Phillip Kohler and her daughter, Karen Moss.

Survivors include her loving husband of 68 years, Bradley Walker of Sellersburg, her sons, Bradley (Lisa) Walker of Sellersburg, Bruce (Teresa) Walker of Sellersburg, Perry (Kathy) Walker of Apopka, Florida, her brother, Jack (Bettie) Kohler of Cincinnati, Ohio. Mrs. Walker also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M.  on Monday, July 10, 2017 at the Speed Memorial Church (328 US-31, Sellersburg, IN 47172) with interment to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg and on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the services at the church. Memorial contributions can be made to the Speed Memorial Church.
