Aldine  McRae , 84, of Underwood, Indiana went home to be with Jesus at 7:11 A.M. on Thursday, August 29,2019 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. Aldine was born in Gradyville, Kentucky to the late Joseph and Katie Jewell.  In April of 1952 she married Donald W. McRae her husband of 67 years. They have two children, Stephen Wayne (Tami) McRae and Donna Jean (Walter) Wilmoth. She is survived by her brother, Ronnie Jewell of Sellersburg, her sisters, Joyce Jackson (Don) of Romeoville, Illinois, Marline Wilson (Robert) of Sellersburg, 5 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. Aldine worked side by side with Don at their business, Sellersburg Auto and on their farm for many years. She was preceded in death by her brother Donnie Jewell and sisters, Louise Tate, Eula Mae Greenwood and Norma "Jeanie" Cooper. She was a life time member of the Memphis Community Church.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
