Scott Spoonmore, 63, entered eternal life on Friday, October 4, 2019 at his home surrounded by his wife and children. He was born on August 14, 1956 in Kodiak, Alaska. Scott was a Driver Manager for Mr. P Express. He attended Northside Christian Church and was Baptized on September 30 of this year. He wrote a series of Children’s Books based on a character known as Seymour the Semi. One of Scott’s biggest passions was buying and selling antiques. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Joanne Spoonmore, Sellersburg, son, Nicholas Spoonmore, Madisonville, Kentucky, daughter, Stephanie (Matt) Cheek, Culleoka, Tennessee, parents, Jack and Sharon Sue Spoonmore, Jeffersonville, sister-in-laws, Jan Overby, Sellersburg, Faye (Joe) Seigla, Greensboro, North Carolina, brother-in-law, Danny (Bunnie) Overby, Reidsville, North Carolina, grandchildren, Hunter, Callie and Dakota Wilson and several nieces, nephews and extended family. A memorial service will be held 6PM Tuesday, October 8 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5PM until the time of service.
