Lu was an amazing force and I am so happy to have had the pleasure of knowing her. She earned, and very much deserved, all the respect that she was given. Keeping a kitchen full of boys in line, mastering her craft, and being one of the most kind individuals. Years after I worked with her, I would see her sitting on her porch when my girls and I were on our daily walk and we could pick up like no time had passed.
You will be missed Lula and I hope to be just as sassy and sweet when I get older!
