Darrell R. Killen, 88, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Mr. Killen was born on August 14, 1929 to the late Shelly and Bertha Killen in Memphis, Indiana. He worked as a Plant Forman at Louisville Cement for 32 years and retired from Kosmodale Cement after 10 years as a Production Supervisor. Mr. Killen was a member of the Sellersburg United Methodist Church and an avid IU Basketball fan. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Wilma J. Killen and his daughter, Pamela Jean Davidson.

Survivors include his sons, Steven Killen (Marita) of Louisville, Kentucky  , Michael Killen of Jeffersonville, Indiana, Gary Killen (Vickie) of Georgetown, Indiana, Roger Killen (Samantha) of New Albany, Indiana and his daughter,  Kathryn Striby (Hank) of Jeffersonville.  Mr. Killen is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M.  on Monday, February 19, 2018 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Sunday from 2 P.M. until 7 P.M. and on Monday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions can be made to The American Cancer Society (P.O.
