Barbara Ann (Pendygraft) Waiz

Barbara Ann Waiz, 89, entered eternal life on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Harrison Springs in Corydon, Indiana.  She was a retired Book Keeper at Jim O’Neal Ford, volunteer and former usher for the Kentucky Center for the Arts, member of Southeast Christian Church in Jeffersonville, The Chit Chat Club and Friends Club.  Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Edna Pendygraft, two sisters, Geraldine Ernest and Nancy Gray and a daughter-in-law, Debbie Waiz.  Surviving are Bill Waiz, Sr., sons, Billy (Doris) Waiz, Alan (Annie) Waiz, Brian (Carla) Waiz, daughters, Lynn (Bob) Underwood, Donna (Steve) Smith, Carolyn Waiz, Janice (Bill) Wilson, grandchildren, Gretchen deWeber, Julie Flynn, Zachary Smith, Jordan Waiz, Lore Waiz, Jacob Waiz, Andrew Underwood, Francesca Sanderson, Billy Wilson, Jenna Waiz, Dylan Waiz, Vivian Waiz, Eric Standiford, Jonathan Pace, Neal Pace, Brandon Pace and twenty-four, great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held 11AM Thursday at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with burial to follow at Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 12-8PM and anytime after 9AM until the time of service on Thursday.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 or Alzheimer’s Association, 6100 Dutchmans Lane Ste 401, Louisville, KY 40205-3284.  Online condolences can be made at www.garrfuneralservices.com.
