Sandra "Sandy" Mae Gramlin, 72, of Sellersburg, Indiana passed away on March 21, 2024. She was born on November 1, 1951 in Louisville, Kentucky. Sandy was a graduate of Shawnee High School. She dedicated her professional life to a lifelong career in medical transcription. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Sellersburg.
Sandy will be deeply missed by her beloved husband of 53 years, Billy Gramlin, her children, Kevin (Rosalyn) Gramlin, Derek Gramlin, Corey (Angie) Gramlin, Kelly (Richie) Cannon, her grandchildren Kaitlyn Gramlin, Matthew Gramlin, Jonah Cannon, Reese Cannon, and Samantha Cannon, her great-grandchildren, Noah and Rowan, her brothers Darrell (Donna) LeMaster and David LeMaster, her sister-in-law, Sandy Kay LeMaster, her brother-in-law, Gerry Windhorst, and her beloved nieces and nephews Kathy, Jamie, Mike, Troy, Stephanie, Jake, and Katie.
Sandy was preceded in death by her mother Wanda Christine LeMaster, by her father Elijah Greene LeMaster, by her brother, Billy LeMaster, by her sister, Carol Windhorst, and by sister-in-law Wanda LeMaster.
Sandy loved traveling the country on road trips with her husband, especially to the Great Smokey Mountains. She loved sewing quilts, playing games at family gatherings, watching true crime shows, and providing donations to many organizations such as Operation Christmas Child, Crusade for Children and various food pantries.
She will be dearly remembered for her kindness, dedication to family, and her love for the simple joys in life.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, March 29, 2024 at Garr Funeral Home (7806 Highway 311, Sellersburg, Indiana) with interment to follow at Silver Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to Garr Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
