Marjorie Beyl Jenkins, 79, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on December 22, 1936 in Sellersburg to Arthur and Lula Mae Beyl. Marjorie was a Receptionist for over 40 years for the Clark County Commissioners and the Highway Department, working at the Clark County Courthouse. She dedicated her life to her family and to politics, formerly serving as a Vice Committeewoman of the Clark County Democrats and a Precinct Committeewoman. One of her many achievements was being awarded the Sagamore of the Wabash by the Governor of Indiana. She was a member of the St. John Paul II Catholic Church in Sellersburg. Of the many things Marjorie enjoyed, she excelled at cooking French cuisine and she enjoyed her flowers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bus Jenkins, sisters, Ike Eismann, Alice Edwards, Shirley Burns, and Geneva Leach, and brother, Arthur Beyl, Jr.

Ronald (Kathleen) Conaway- Charlestown, Indiana
Sisters: Phyllis Beyl- Sellersburg, Indiana
Peggy (Richard) Dunlevy- Columbus, Indiana
Grandchildren: Tyler and Holly
