Carpenter, Angela Stacey-Jones, and Melissa Carpenter Foster,

two son’s in- law: Jeffery B. Foster and Samuel W. Jones II, five grand-children:  Catherine M.  Hatch, Clint A. Foster, Jacob A. Carpenter, Heather B. Stacey, and Hannah E. She was a lifelong member of First Baptist church in Sellersburg and retired from AT&T Louisville Ky.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.  She devoted her life to her family and friends and always put their needs above her own.  She was active in her church throughout her life and believed that God was her Savior and friend.  Even though she struggled with health issues later in life she never quit believing that God loved her and that someday she would go to meet him.  She loved buying and selling antiques and did this for over 30 years.  She made many friends throughout the years and regretted when declining health prevented her ability to continue her antiquing hobby.  She loved anything   history and loved to read about it, often reading multiple books at a time which made her a great authority on the subject.  She often said that although she had lived many, many places

and done many, many things, her heart would always remain in Gravel Switch, KY and this is where she has requested that her ashes be scattered.  She will be deeply missed by her family and friends and even though she no longer dwells on this earth her precious memory will linger forever in the hearts of those who loved and cherished her.  “We love you Wife, Mom, Granny, Sister, Cousin and Friend and live for the day when we meet you again”.
