Charles J. Graf, 90, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2017.
He served his country during World War II, after graduating from Silver Creek High School in 1945. Charles retired from Colgate Palmolive after 39 years. He was a gardener, a fisherman, and a member of St. John Paul II Catholic Church.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Mary Jean (Adams) Graf. He is survived by sons, Michael J. (Stacy) Graf of Henryville, Indiana, Thomas J. Graf, Sellersburg; daughters, Ann M. Willian, Sellersburg, Jan M. (Harold) Davis, Sellersburg; brother, Donald (Helen) Graf, Sellersburg; grandchildren, Megan Graf, Michael (Noelle) Graf, Jr., Whitney Graf (Ryan) Warren, Evan Davis; great granddaughter, Emerson, and longtime friend, Audrey Capper.
A Funeral Mass will be held 11 A.M. Wednesday at St. John Paul II Catholic Church (St. Paul Campus) in Sellersburg with burial to follow at St. Joe Hill Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 12 Noon until 8 P.M. and after 9 A.M. Wednesday at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. John Paul II Catholic Church.
